Publishes Crossings, Words of Comfort
A new book to help
get a grip on these unsettling times

Los Angeles, CA; November 1,
2010—Beverly Russell, President of Beverly Russell
Enterprises, announces the publication of a new
book “Crossings,
Words of Comfort.”
After 30 years in a sequestered file, this
collection of writings, verses and poetry has been brought to
light in Russell's new book. The collection was gathered
together by a New York spiritual counselor, Elenore Wrench
(1900-1983) during her professional work with clients seeking
comfort and compassion in their fast-paced, Manhattan daily
lives.
Beverly Russell, a former client of Ms. Wrench,
recently rediscovered the file and published the collection
under her own imprint, Beverly Russell Enterprises.
“Elenore Wrench asked me to publish this work in
1983, but then she died unexpectedly and the project came to a
halt. The collection has even more meaning in today’s unsettled
world. It is a “pillow” book of comforting thoughts to read at
bedtime,” Russell said.
The book is illustrated with over 30 color
photographs of flowers, each one linked to a particular message
of comfort. “Crossings, Words of Comfort,” is available
from
Amazon and
Barnes and Noble. Retail price $15.95.

Announces New Children's Book
The Adventures of
Kundun the Golden Cat

Los Angeles, CA; November 15,
2009—Beverly Russell, President of Beverly Russell
Enterprises, announces the upcoming publication of a new
children’s book “The Adventures of Kundun the Golden Cat.”
In the tradition of other lovable
story-book animals—Babar, Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, and
Pooh Bear—the tale is co-authored by Beverly Russell and
Benjamin Beardwood, and illustrated by Sushiela. The book will be available this December
through Amazon.com for $15.95.
A modern day Aesop fable, the
story is about “giving” rather than “getting,” a theme that fits
into the current world economic view. By giving away his
possessions, Kundun, a rich princely cat, finds satisfaction and
happiness that he did not enjoy before.
The book encourages readers of all
ages to give to the needy around the world and has a back-of
book-index listing charitable organizations, such as UNICEF,
OXFAM, and SAVE THE CHILDREN that serve the under-privileged
poor.
Kundun also spreads a message of
cross-cultural relationships, in recognition that all nations
are globally interconnected, and can benefit by friendship and
cooperation.
Paula Rice Jackson, Executive Vice
President of the United Nations Association in New York, calls
the book “A charmer…buoyant with wisdom and hope.”
Shirley Rodwell, MBE, Trustee of
the Westminster Group, London, UK says:
“The Kundun story with its message of friendship, sharing and
generosity will be enjoyed by children in many countries.”
Kundun, the Golden Cat, takes his
name from the Tibetan word meaning “presence” a title given to
the Dalai Lama, a world spiritual leader. The word synchronizes
with the story in which Kundun gives away “presents” to his
friends with joyful results.

"Ask The Flowers"
An Intriguing
New Card Game That Predicts Personal Moods
.jpg)
Beverly Hills, CA—Beverly Russell, well-known international
author of coffee table books on design, arts and food has
created an intriguing new card game—Ask The Flowers. She partnered with her sister,
Gillian Redfern Rones, a prominent New York graphic designer.
Ask The Flowers will be launched at the California Gift Show,
July 22-25, 2005 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, booth
2328.
The two collaborated on the card game which through the power of
flowers predicts messages and moods by choice of the “flower”
cards. The sisters were introduced to horticultural beauty as
children, “We constantly listen to the languages and messages of
the flowers,” says Russell. “They help uplift the spirits.
Psychologists also know how personal flower preferences can
elicit knowledge about a person’s inner thoughts and character.”
Ask the Flowers mood cards consist of a pack of 36 different
flowers, stunningly shown in four-color photographs, with an
accompanying booklet. The player is asked to pick two cards,
after shuffling the cards carefully. The first card predicts a
mood for today. The second, a mood for tomorrow. The
interpretations of the moods are found in the lovely illustrated
booklet.
Card games have a history going back thousands of years. Their
uncanny habits of displaying patterns and formations have defied
mathematicians, philosophers and gamblers alike. Ask the Flowers
mood cards can be played alone, or with friends and family. It
is upbeat and optimistic and always conveys good news to
players.
The cards are available for
$13.95 per pack;
